Every tier runs installed offline library packages, the media server, files and video calls, and its own WiFi hotspot. Measured GPU, memory, and runtime evidence qualifies Standard and up for their locked on-box AI profiles; missing evidence disables local AI. Library has no local-AI promise.

Standard and Pro share the same GPU and the same ~90 GB/s of memory bandwidth. Pro buys sustained-load cooling and 64GB/2TB headroom, not speed. Elite is the only class jump: about 3x the bandwidth, twice the cores, and the 32B model.

03 / How to Read It

What the table is telling you.

N-01 / Standard vs Pro

Same silicon. We say so.

Both run 8 Zen 4 cores and the same Radeon 780M graphics on the same ~90 GB/s memory path, so they occupy the same raw compute class. Pro adds sustained-load cooling, 64GB of memory, 2TB of storage, and the larger 14B model. Buy Pro for endurance, capacity, and model headroom, not a faster GPU.

N-02 / The one real jump

Elite is a different class.

The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 pairs 16 cores with LPDDR5X-8000 on a 256-bit bus: ~256 GB/s of theoretical memory bandwidth, about three times Standard and Pro. Local generation repeatedly moves model weights through memory, so bandwidth shapes which model class can run well. That is what makes the qualified 32B model practical on Elite.

N-03 / The AI ladder

What the models mean.

Measured GPU, memory, and runtime evidence qualifies Standard, Pro, and Elite for their locked Qwen profiles; missing evidence disables local AI. Generation stays on the appliance with no cloud model account. The assistant can retrieve and display local source context for direct matches, but it may also use general model knowledge. Answers can be wrong, and retrieval or citations do not prove a claim. Library has no local-AI promise and keeps the installed library, media server, and Nextcloud services.

Running from backup power

Use the included adapter with an AC outlet or power station rated for that tier’s adapter wattage. For short outages, size a desktop UPS for the same rating. Runtime depends on the battery capacity and the work the box is doing.

What we do not publish

No idle-wattage charts, operating-temperature ranges, or noise figures appear on this page, because we have not validated them on the final production units. When we do, the numbers will be measured on our own benches, not copied from a marketing sheet.
