1.Refundable Pre-Order Deposits
Your pre-order deposit of $99 is fully refundable. You may cancel your pre-order at any time before your unit ships and receive a 100% refund of your deposit, no questions asked. The remaining balance and subscription are not charged until your unit ships, so cancelling a pre-order before shipment means you are charged nothing beyond a deposit that is returned to you.
2.Your FTC Cancellation Rights (Late Shipment)
We comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule. Our current estimated ship window is October 2026. If we cannot ship your unit within the promised window (or within 30 days if no time was stated), we will notify you of the delay and offer you the choice to either consent to the new shipping date or cancel your order for a full and prompt refund. If you do not respond to a delay notice that offers a refund, we will treat continued silence consistent with FTC requirements and, on a significant further delay, cancel and refund automatically.
3.Hardware Returns After Delivery
Once your unit ships and is delivered, you may request a refund of the hardware purchase within 30 days of delivery, provided the unit is returned in good condition. To preserve the privacy and security of an offline device, we may require the unit be reset to factory state before a refund is issued. Return shipping costs may be the customer's responsibility unless the unit is defective or we shipped the wrong item. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
4.Subscriptions
You may cancel a content/software subscription at any time from your account portal; cancellation stops future renewals. We do not generally refund the current subscription period once it has begun, except where required by law. For pre-orders, the first prepaid subscription period is included in your order balance and is covered by the pre-order refund terms above until your unit ships.
5.How to Request a Refund or Cancel
Email support@offlineresilience.com with your order number, or visit our Contact page. Refunds are processed through Stripe back to your original payment method; depending on your bank, it may take several business days for the funds to appear.
6.Non-Refundable Items
Downloadable digital content that has already been delivered may be non-refundable once accessed, except where required by law. Any such limits will be disclosed at the point of purchase.
